Rare 1940s Don Robles of California selvedge loop collar shirt made in the USA — a cropped large with a lion crest embroidery and the crisp selvedge cotton of pre-war California sportswear. Don Robles was a Los Angeles maker known for quality men's leisure shirts in the 40s, and this lion-emblazoned crest piece is a particularly distinguished example of the era's collegiate-influenced Californian style.
