Hi!

My name is Jack Murphy. Nice to meet ya 👋 

I worked in the clothing industry for over 10 years and observed the unnecessary wastefulness and environmental impact of garment manufacture. Although I may not have always directly contributed to these things at times, I felt complacent by participating in an industry that constantly encouraged people to keep buying new things. Most of what was getting made that was interesting to me was inspired by the vintage clothing that I had been collecting.

In 2019, I finally decided to escape my old life and lean into what has really made me happy:

Vintage clothing and a more conscious consumerism.

I haven’t looked back since!

In early 2019, I came back from LA to my hometown of Santa Fe for what was originally a temporary stay for a family emergency. At that time I was flying back and forth so I could continue to do vintage pop ups with friends in the LA area. It wasn't until early 2020 when I had to opportunity to finally settle down and started the instagram and online store.

For 2022, in additional to expanding the online business, I am focused on developing content to educate on sustainability and encourage thrifting.

My plan is to film a series documenting one of my vintage road trips as well as a series highlighting the ecological challenges created by textile waste.
